Well, here it is July already and the sailing is in full force. The cruises have been great. Jefferson Beach was a good starter, and rafting off and going up to St Claire was great. I believe reservations have been made there for next July 4th. Keep it on your calendar as this is a nice little town.
First half of the the racing season is complete and the participants are having fun.
Don't forget to get your relatives out on the lake. Particularly the ones that always give you that strange look when you tell them how much fun and relaxing sailing is. I hate the price of fuel, but I know all of us have noticed the decrease of power boats on the water this year. Especially the big ones that like to run us over.
Don't forget the general membership meeting at the Cruise to Metro Beach. We are going to shoot for a meeting time of around 4:30.

Invitational Social Event 2008
Attention CRCA racers and members. On August 23, 2008 the ABYRA Invitational Race will be held and followed by a pinic at Markley Marina gazebo. Menu will include burgers, Ball Park franks, potato salad, chips and cookies. We expect to serve about 5:00. Price will be $5 per-person Further details will be available through CRCA web site, “AHOYTHERE” emails or by contacting Paul Krutty. This event is for all members. Hope to see you there.
