Senior moment, Friday wasn't the Fourth SO lots of time to shop and get costumes while Mike works half of a DAY day HA, HA. DID everything late Thursday night and early Friday morning. ( 5:30 A.M.)
Trip across fine till the channel then motor, motor, MOTORED.
Everyone got there by 3 P. M. CONFUSION , DINNER OR ORDURVES ? DINNER AT FOUR !
MIKE, the bright one came up with a dangerous game after dinner but it came across great as the group bit into it. He picked two boats to make up a team. Each team selected a candiddate, and the five candidates gave their speeches. Their platforms were terrific but unpublishable. Thanks crew ! Then Tish gave his brief history lesson and SURPRISE Larry and others were quite good students.
Breakfast next morning coffee, fruit, fruit juices, pastries and one small pineapple were presented in fine fashion. The coffee pot got filled and emptied 3 TIMES.
WEATHER WAS TERRIFIC, WARM BUT BREEZY
Lunch was pot luck of all that was left aboard the ships and worked out well. Held the 50/50 but Tishler didn’t win.
All went to dinner and then to bed, it was crowded but we managed.
Up Sunday morning . coffee and left overs then a real breakfast in the restaurant.
They reversed the layout of the bar and restaurant and it was horrible. NO DRINKING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE AT THE POOL AND GAZBO AREAS! BUY ALL DRINKS FROM THEM. Hardly anybody spent a dime there except for ice and breakfast.
